What does it do?
It is a WI-FI AP device or access point. The core function of an AP is to help to create a WLAN or wireless local area networking in a large office building. The access point or AP is connected to a wired router to a switch, or a hub and it works to project a powerful Wi-Fi signal throughout the designated area in which it has been placed.
The UniFi Nano HD: Because good things come in small packages!
The device has been designed for Seamless Integration with all the other components of your network. The UniFi nanoHD Access Point(AP) features a very low profile form factor so that it is all but invisible to the non-discerning eye. The optional ceiling mount along witha wide number of custom skins effectively allow this AP to blend even more discreetly into its setting. Add to that the fact that it is at least around thirty percent smaller than many, if not most other access points out there. And we are proud to state that this is our smallest access point that is currently available in the Market today.
